A Servant’s Heart, Ruth 2:17–23
Ruth’s concern for Naomi became more than kind words. She worked, sacrificed, submitted, and carried home enough to meet another person’s needs. Her heart was made visible through what she did.
A servant’s heart puts others first and trusts God enough to obey without seeing the whole plan. Service may seem ordinary, but God uses faithful servants to make His grace visible and accomplish work of eternal significance.
Ransomed by His Blood, 1 Peter 1:17–21
What does it mean to be ransomed by God? In 1 Peter 1:17–21, we are reminded that our redemption was not purchased with silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ. This truth reshapes how we live, how we hope, and how we approach God.
Because the ransom has been paid, believers can live with confidence—not in themselves, but in the finished work of Christ, the eternal will of God, and the hope secured through the resurrection.
